All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and exclude the Government Goods & Services Tax.
The rate is quoted on a per person, per night basis.
A holiday season surcharge of NZD $200.00 per person per night applies to guests staying 23rd December 2010 - 5 January 2011.
A two night minimum stay applies to high season 15 December 2010 - 31st March 2011.
Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket to dinner and we ask that you respect the non smoking policy within the Lodge and guest rooms.

Group Bookings (5 rooms or more)
Reservations of 4 + rooms are considered a group and booking conditions apply:
- To confirm a group booking a deposit of 35% on accommodation is required.

Children and Families:

Matakauri Lodge welcomes family’s travelling with children
Infants & Children under the age of 5 are free of charge when occupying adults room using exisitng bedding. Cribs are available complimentary for children up to the age of 2.
Interconnecting rooms are available and can be booked in conjunction with a Deluxe Suite.
Private dining arrangements will be made for families dining with children under the age of 12 after 7:00pm.

Group Bookings are taken at the sole discretion of the property and special conditions may apply

90 - 31 days	Transaction Fee (NZ$250)
30 - 14 days	50% charge for the room nights cancelled
Less than 14 days	Full charge for the room nights cancelled

Cancellation Policy for 3 Rooms or less during the Festive Season, applies 23 December - 5 January

90 - 60 days	50% charge for the room nights cancelled
Less than 60 days	Full charge for the room nights cancelled

Group Cancellation Policy (4 rooms or more)

Outside 90 days before arrival	No charge
90 - 61 days	25% charge for the room nights cancelled
60 - 31 days	50% charge for the room nights cancelled
30 - 14 days	75% charge for the room nights cancelled
Less than 14 days	100% charge for the room nights cancelled

Group Cancellation Policy during the High Season, applies 15 December - 31 March (4 rooms or more)

Less than 75 days	100% charge for the room nights cancelled

We encourage all valued guests to take travel insurance in the event that circumstances outside of their control cause cancellation of their booking and thus incur a cancellation fee.
